Epoxy Care
Wait 7 days to set heavy items on an epoxy countertop. Do not place even a coffee mug, cup, or bowl with the rim on the bottom during this time. This could indent the countertop while curing.
Always use hot pads or trivets under hot items such as pans, slow cookers, griddles, electric fryers, etc. Our countertops are heat-resistant from 100 – 400 degrees; however, to keep them looking their best, it is always recommended not to set direct heat on them.
Epoxy Cleaning
- All you need is soap, water, and a soft cotton or microfiber cloth. You can also use approved gentle cleaners, such as Windex, Simple Green, or Dawn dish soap.
Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals, as it will dull the finish. Also, do not use Norwex microfiber cloths, as they contain tiny metal particles that can scratch your surface.
